Description

Global Trade Atlas Data This proposed contract action is for Database services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is a sole source requirement that is proprietary to IHS Maritime & Trade.. No other supplies or services have been identified that will satisfy the government's needs The agency's minimum requirements are for a up-to-date merchandise import and export trade data reported by over 80 countries at a low level of aggregation and shall contain official statistics of various governments, the assembly, cross checking, underlying calculations and standardized presentation of the resulting analysis, and single user-interface providing easy and effective navigation of such a large set of data. The data shall be directly available from the vendor's website shall be obtained through direct formal agreements with the official source of each reporting country and covers detailed and aggregated statistics on imports and exports, updated monthly, in value and quantity. The IHS Maritime & Trade LLC is the only manufacturer of the Global Trade Data that covers over 80 countries at such a low level aggregation demand. This is a requirement of the USDA-APHIS, PPQ at Riverdale, Maryland. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether it will become necessary to conduct a competitive procurement.
