Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the Durham VA Medical Center, located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina will be soliciting offers for The Durham VA Medical Center s to repair service and preventative maintenance, in full accordance with manufacturer specifications. On-location repair to include: General Surgical Instruments, Ear Nose & Throat, Laparoscopic, Microsurgical, Neurological, Ophthalmic, Orthopedic, Urological, Specialty Instruments, stainless steel instruments sharpened/ refurbished. Repairs are to be made at the VA Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. The on-site service provided by the contractor shall be in their own mobile service lab. A request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-17-Q-2001 will be issued on or about September 25, 2017. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is October 1, 2017 (or date of award) through September 30,2018 or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $20.5 million. The classification code is J065. The solicitation will be issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
