Description

Cincinnati Radiopharmaceutical RFQ Questions/Answers The following questions were submitted by potential bidders (Contractor) for the Cincinnati Radiopharmaceutical RFQ. Answers to questions are highlighted below each question (Government). All questions were submitted by the deadline indicated in the solicitation. PLEASE NOTE: The following line-items are removed from the RFQ, and no longer require price quotes: Line items 24, 25, & 26. Contractor Confirming that FDA approved only products will be quoted? Government - Correct Contractor Due to the current volatility of the Nuclear Radiopharmaceutical landscape you are requesting 4 option years.   Are the option years mutually agreed upon? Government - This is at the discretion of the government, and will be determined prior to exercising each option year Contractor Will other cardiac agents (ie. Cardiolite Branded & Myoview) be acceptable?   Government - Yes Contractor What options are available if the transition from HEU to LEU that the Gov t is driving to for 2020 substantially increases the cost of Tc99 and that pricing goes upside down on the price schedule?   Government - If the price goes up during the contract year, the price government pays remains the same as quoted for that year. Exercised option years can be modified Contractor Due to the number of Single-Sourced products in the market, what options are available for the situations where the market price increases by double, triple and even quadruple percent unexpectedly as it has in the past. Government - The vendor will have to honor the price quoted for that year, and a modifications to contract pricing may be addressed prior to each option year Contractor Confirming that vendors are able to bid on PET only, SPECT only?   Government - Vendors have to include PET AND SPECT government is looking for one vendor billing Contractor How will you validate the vendor s ability to meet the 1 hr delivery times for STAT and Emergency needs for the solicitation?   Government - This should actually be 2 hours (the SOW should state 2 hours).   We will have a data sheet from the time we call to the time of arrival, and response times will be tracked accordingly Contractor For quoting purposes, we need the dimensions for Item #26 -- Co-57 Cobalt Flood source (15mCi). Government This item has been removed from the RFQ, and does not need quoted. Contractor Would you consider setting aside this solicitation for small business? Government Due to the requirements of this contract, this is not currently a set-aside.
