- Description
- Corpus Christi Army Depot Contracting Office Army Contracting Command-Redstone (CCAM-ALC) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Box Elder Innovations, LLC of Bear River City, UT under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source reasonably available. The requirement is for Ultrasonic (UT) nondestructive evaluation (NDE) methodology on a previously developed standalone system for U.S. Army aviation components, which shall include ultrasonic fixtures and defect standards for nondestructive testing (NDT) of Army aviation components being repaired using the Additive Manufacturing (AM) Cold Spray Process. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The solicitation number for this requirement is W912NW-17-T-0094 and is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Circulars Defense Acquisition are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334516 and has a size standard of 1,000 employees. The Government will consider all responses received prior to the closing date of the solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
