The amount and hardness of grease in each interceptor will vary by how long it has been since the last pumping, the number and type of meals prepared, and the quality of the last cleaning. The amount of time allowed at each interceptor location may be affected by security and institutional needs. Each interceptor is to have a minimum of a basic cleaning quarterly. Each quarterly visit is to include pumping each interceptor down as far as possible within the allotted timeframe, hauling, manifesting, and disposal of the waste per Colorado Department of Public Health regulations. This will be done through surface access only. Each interceptor will also require a thorough cleaning once a year. This can be completed one interceptor per quarter as long as each of the interceptors is completed once yearly. A thorough cleaning is to include pumping the interceptor to the bottom, entry using OSHA-mandated "Confined Space Entry" permitting, equipment, and trained personnel, and a cleaning of the inside of the interceptor through the use of scrapers and high-pressure jetting as needed. FCC Florence reserves the right to cancel the contract at their discretion.
