Description
a. Scan all viewable bus, bus joints, feeder connections, and power stabs inside the enclosure to detect abnormal thermal conditions. b. Scan viewable bus duct connections to switchgear. c. Photograph thermal abnormalities to document for the customer report. Provide specific recommendations as to the severity of problems found, recommended correction themes and corrective action required. d. Provide written engineering report including two color photographs and a specific recommendation for each abnormal hot-spot condition. One photograph will show the hot-spot area and temperature rise above ambient. The other photograph will have the exact physical location of the hot-spot circled. e. Contractor will provide an updated single line diagram for the facility. The one line diagram will be generated by the power system analysis software and will include all electrical equipment for which arc flash calculations are performed. Contractor shall install new vinyl cove base on the perimeter of the room. f. Pre-mentioned diagram will include protective device information and arc flash label information. All equipment and buses will be identified using KAFB specific naming conventions. The Drawing will show all equipment and buses starting at the main service entrance equipment and proceeding downstream to include each bus plug on the four main bus runs. g. The contractor will provide a complete report for all system studies. The report will be provided in both electronic and printed form and will contain the results of the short circuit, coordination: device evaluation and arc flash studies. The report will also contain the coordination curves and all input data, along with recommendations for changes to settings for equipment, the conclusions. It will be printed in color and bound. Electronic reports will be provided in Adobe PDF format on compact disk media.
