- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency, Aerospace Energy intends to solicit on an Unrestricted, Full and Open Competition basis for the production and delivery of 30,000 pounds of High Purity Hydrazine (HPH) Propellant, NSN: 9135-01-232-1852, IAW MIL-PRF-26536G, dated 11 July 2017, delivered either F.O.B. Origin into Government-owned containers OR F.O.B. Destination in Contractor-provided containers and all related ancillary services. The contract period will be approximately 14 months from Date of Award with the first two months utilized for approval of a Preproduction Sample. Actual production of product will begin upon approval of the Preproduction Sample and final delivery of the HPH shall be made 270-365 days thereafter. Partial deliveries will be acceptable throughout the Period of Performance. The anticipated Award Date is 31 January 2018. The Government intends to award one Firm Fixed Price contract using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisition procedures. Award will be made to the offeror determined to be the Best Value to the Government, price and other factors considered, using the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process. The solicitation will be issued on or about 2 October 2017 and will be posted to the FedBizOpps web page (http://fbo.gov/). If you do not have Internet Access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. Only written, emailed, or faxed copies received directly from the requester will be acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
