Page 1 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, CMOP Acquisitions, Leavenworth, KS has a requirement to establish custodial services at the Charleston Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP). This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. This is anticipated to be a single award Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract for one (1) base year and up to four (4) option years, projected period of performance of 4-1-2018 to 3-31-2023. Product Service Code is S201 (Custodial, Janitorial Services); the NAICS code for this solicitation is 561720 (Janitorial Services). All responsible open market sources may submit a quote, which if timely received by offer due date/time specified on Standard Form (SF) 1449 of solicitation, shall be considered by this agency. Solicitation 36C77018Q0002 shall be posted at https://www.fbo.gov by 4:00pm Central Standard Time (CST), 10-19-2017, and will close no later than 10:00am CST, 11-17-2017. No phone calls please. Reed, Contracting Officer, at douglas.reed3@va.gov A general scope of work is listed below; please do not submit quote until Solicitation has been posted to https://www.fbo.gov, as such quotes will not be accepted by the Government: The Contractor shall provide management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide custodial services for the VA Charleston Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP), 3725 Rivers Avenue, Suite 2, North Charleston, SC 29405. The building areas to be serviced are listed below: Facility Total Size: 78,000 sq ft Carpeted Office Area: 5720 sq ft, (22 offices) Tile Office/Hall Area: 2950 sq ft (8 offices) Break Room (Tile): 1790 sq ft Rest Rooms and Locker Rooms: 1785 sq ft (4 urinals, 14 toilets, 16 sinks) Restricted Area (Tile): 7700 sq ft (Server Room, Controls, Maint, and 3 cages) Shipping and Receiving Docks: 1000 sq ft polished concrete Industrial Production Area (Conveyor and automation): 19325 sq ft Vinyl Composite Tile Warehouse Storage (pallets and racks): 44500 sq ft Vinyl Composite Tile Trash Production: 4 tons per week through the compactor Break Room and Office Trash: 8 yds per week taken to the outside dumpster Recycling: 500 gal of cans/bottles per week collected in approx. 10 containers throughout the facility and centralized in Charleston County receptacle in front of the building Patient Sensitive Trash: ½ ton per week collected in specially marked bins throughout the facility and brought to the compactor in opaque, black trash bags. Cardboard Recycling: 20 bales per week at an average of 615 lb per bale: collected in approx. 12 locations using 20+ rolling Gaylord bins compacted in the baler. No solicitation packages will be e-mailed, mailed, or faxed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above and as detailed on the solicitation. As part of solicitation process, potential offerors are encouraged to do a site visit prior to submitting offer. Dates/times for scheduling such visits are at the Government s discretion based on production workload at Charleston CMOP. Offeror shall be registered and active at the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov at time of offer.
