- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). The anticipated contractor is TeraRecon, Inc. | 4000 E 3rd Ave Suite 200 | Foster City, CA 94404-4805. The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for software license and support services for the facility s existing TeraRecon AquariusNet software system. This system streamlines radiology workflows to help VA facilities in advanced 3D image (3D volumetric review) processing, visualization, and decision support. Support services shall include bug fixes, phone support, and minor release upgrades. The aforementioned items are not covered by the Federal Supply Schedule and would be open market. There is no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811310 with a small business size standard of $7.5 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
