Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta GA, VISN 7, is issuing a solicitation for a database that combines medical reference including INDEX SYSTEM, Material Safety Data sheets poisindex system, REPRORISK system, and TOMES system, the drug essentials package which includes AltMedex, Drug-REAX system, Manritindale and PDR, and the following: CareNotes System, Diseasedexe Emergency Medicine, Diseasedex General Medicine, IV Index System, Material Safety Data Sheets, Poisindex System, Reprorisk System, and Tomes System. This subscription is for the medical staff in the performance of their duties in treating Veteran patients. The contractor will provide access to the data base, Micromedex or an equivalent, to all hospitals and all clinics in VISN 7. This will be available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The contractor staff will be available either by phone or e-mail to remedy any problems with access to the site or within the site. The period of performance for this procurement will be February 1, 2018, through January 31, 2019, with four (4) one year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 519130 with a size standard of 1000 employees. This solicitation is 100% Set Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses with a NAICS Code of 519130, and a size standard of 1,000 employees. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within 3 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer by fax 478-274-5588. NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER OCTOBER 18, 2017. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
