- This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 100 Emancipation Dr., Richmond, Virginia 23667, is seeking potential sources capable to provide Boiler treatment services. This includes, provide chemical treatment and testing of the boiler water system to include supplying all labor, equipment, parts, material and expertise to control scale and corrosion and improve heat transfer in the Hampton VAMC boiler system on a monthly basis. Shall maintain an in-house laboratory facility for complete analysis of treated water, deposits, and metal fatigue analysis. The NAICS code for this procurement is 221310, Water Supply ; Size Standard $27.5 Million. MUST BE ISO Certified Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small): Please identify whether any of the following socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Services Disabled Veteran-Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business; provide a brief description of qualifications (Capability Statement) and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement. Subject line must reflect: Hampton Boiler Treatment.
