Description
Limited Sources Justification This modification of the existing Booz Allen Hamilton GSA Professional Services (PSS) Federal Supply Schedule GS-00F-008DA task order DJO-OAAG-16-G-0140 "Diagnostic Center: Engaging with Communities to Reduce Violent Crime" is to add work as a logical follow-on task, which will result in an increase in the Time & Material task order ceiling. This action would expand the work of the Diagnostic Center to meet a critical and emergent need to reduce violent crime in additional communities across the United States. The Diagnostic Center is a multi-year project focused on the engagement of communities to address violent crime. The Diagnostic Center assists community leaders seeking to implement data-driven interventions to address public safety, juvenile justice, criminal justice, and crime victim services issues. The Diagnostic Center helps communities use local data to understand public safety and criminal justice issues, and then choose among and implement effective strategies to address them. The Statement of Work (SOW) calls for a Contractor under Task 3.0 to deliver customized violence reduction strategies to ten (10) cities to combat violent crime and enhance law enforcement efforts through training and technical assistance. As this work aligns with this increase based on scope, adding two (2) additional cities fits under the current Statement of Work for this task order, for a total of twelve (12) cities. This task order is currently in Option Year 1 of its 5-year period of performance (POP), if all options are exercised, with a current option year POP of August 4, 2017 through August 3, 2018. This total task order ceiling increase will be in the amount of $23,341.46 which will increase the ceiling from $4,428,987.94 to $4,452,329.40.
