Description

Intent to Sole Source THERAKOS ® CELLEX ® Photopheresis System Procedural Kits at Tennessee VA Medical Center, Nashville, TN The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed contract to Therakos, Inc. (d/b/a Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals) Perryville III Corporate Park, 53 Frontage Road, Third Floor P.O. Box 9001, Hampton, NJ 08827-9001 A sole source procurement will be issued to Therakos, Inc. because the kits are used in conjunction with the Cellex Photopheresis Machines to treat cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), a condition that is generally resistant to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b)(2), soliciting from a single source. The NAICS code is 339112 and has a size standard of 1000 employees. SCOPE OF WORK: Tennessee VA Medical Center has a need for Cellex Photopheresis kits for patient treatment. EQUIPMENT: Cellex Photopheresis kits This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than October 18, 2017 at 10:00 am CST to: Mark.Bentley@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
