- Description
- Indoor Small Arms Range of 14 firing positions. Facilities will be designed as commercially designed Modular construction in accordance with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)1-200-01, General Building Requirements. The facility should be compatible with applicable DoD, Air Force, and base design standards. In addition, local materials and construction techniques shall be used where cost effective. This project will comply with DoD force protection requirements per UFCs. Range and site work to be complete with projectile containment bullet traps, overhead and sound reflection reduction. Solicitation sets forth the requirements for commercially designed fabrication and placement of a fourteen (14) lane Modular Range to equal a 25 meter shooting distance not to exceed 120' in length, with Zero surface danger zone when connected to each other capable of supporting live fire with weapons up to (and including) 7.62 mm munitions (as well as shotguns) for qualification training/testing. The system shall include: 1. The Modular Range shall be fielded to the Ohio Air National Guard (OHANG) site. 2. The Modular Range shall be a commercial product produced/engineered by a company with variations of Modular Range products to include multiple CONUS and OCONUS commercial, Federal DHS, and U.S. DoD sites. All proposals shall be submitted to: usaf.oh.180-fw.list.contracting@mail.mil Construction Magnitude for this project is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 Tenative Dates for: RFP issue- O/A 1 Nov 17 Pre-Bid conference O/A 15 Nov 17 POP- as 180 Days All Plans Specs will be available via FBO.
