- SoW The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB issues this Sources Sought Synopsis for information only to locate sources who are capable. JCSE requests that the contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform repair of defective modules and hardware for Shipboard Carry on Satellite Systems (SCOSS) as defined in this Statement of Work (SOW) for the Joint communications Support Element MacDill AFB, FL. The proposed work effort for the satellite terminals will cover the technical evaluation, test and alignment, and the repair of the Satellite Terminals and/or Line Replaceable Units (LRU)'s. This is not a Request for a Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this Request for Information (RFI). The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in response to this RFI. This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information for businesses capable of providing the product as described herein. The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) is currently conducting market research to determine qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. Such information will be evaluated solely for the purposes of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information: 1. A detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar work described in this notice 2. A point of contact with phone and e-mail information 3. Business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, etc.), business size based on NAICS Code 517410, Satellite Telecommunications 4. A positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) is seeking information on personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform repair of defective modules and hardware for Shipboard Carry on Satellite System (SCOSS) for JCSE on MacDill AFB. The following information is requested: For the purpose of this RFI, the anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 517410, Satellite Telecommunications, with the size standard of $32.5M employees.
