Request for Information Cover Letter, FA8003-18-R-0002, Height Adjustable Stand-Up Desk for the U.S. Air Force. DISCLAIMER: This is a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in FAR 15.201(e). The purpose of this RFI is to obtain market information and assess industry capabilities to help the 771st Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS), Furnishing Commodities Council, develop an enterprise strategy for the procurement of Height-Adjustable Stand-up Desks for the U.S. Air Force (USAF). This RFI shall not be construed as a formal solicitation, request for quote or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. Responses to this RFI are not offers or quotes and will not be accepted by the Government to form a Blanket Purchase Agreement, delivery order, or binding contract of any nature. Participants are advised that only U.S. Government Contracting Officers are legally authorized to commit the Government to the obligation of funds. An RFI does not guarantee a solicitation will be issued. Submission of any information in response to this RFI is completely voluntary and costs associated with any submission shall not be reimbursed by the Government. The Government will not respond to or conduct formal debriefings to businesses as part of this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked proprietary will be handled accordingly. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Proprietary information or trade secrets should be clearly identified and portion marked. Please monitor Federal Business Opportunities (FBO.gov) or General Service Schedule (GSA) Advantage for future information pertaining to this potential requirement. General Information: The 771st ESS is located at Wright Patterson AFB, OH and is the USAF's centralized organization for executing enterprise-wide strategic sourcing of goods and services for Air Force installations. They utilize strategic sourcing best practices to improve and re-evaluate organizational purchasing activities, to improve quality and reduce costs for installation acquisition. AFICA uses "Commodity Councils" with cross-functional subject matter experts to strategically source goods and/or services at the enterprise level. Desired State of USAF Height-Adjustable Stand-up Desks: The USAF desires an enterprise solution for ordering Height-Adjustable Stand-up Desks. The products must be available and supplied for the entire USAF location within CONUS and OCONUS AORs. These products must be available for delivery at all current locations.
