Description

On August 16, 2017, Request for Quotations (RFQ) VA255-17-Q-0403 for furnishing Courier Services to the Kansas City MO VA Medical Center was awarded. After issuing that notification a post-award protest was filed with the Government Accountability Office (GAO), File B-415140 of September 25, 2017, alleging that the VA improperly awarded the contract. In accordance with FAR 33.104(c)(3) upon receipt of the protest contract performance was suspended on contract VA255-17-C-0205. In response to the protest the VA agreed to reevaluate the quotes and issue a new award decision. The re-rating of all quotes for this solicitation has now been accomplished. This is an announcement of the re-award decision. The re-award will be made to the following firm: CROSSTOWN COURIER SERVICE 165 Front St. Chicopee MA 01013-1212 TOTAL PRICE (base plus 4 option years): $978,502.50 Contract line items: 0001>00005 DUNS: 087084054
