- U.S. Flag Carrier Shipment Requirements Public Release of Information Omnibus Certification Pamphlet Copenhagen Announcement The U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen, designed by architect Ralph Rapson and constructed in 1954, is a four-level building of approximately 3400 GSM. The Select Improvements Project will provide construction of building systems, life-safety and security upgrades. Scope shall include renovation of the compound access control building, façade repair, interior reconfiguration and improvements, accessibility improvements, fire protection and detection systems, HVAC upgrades, and telecom system replacement. The embassy shall remain operational during execution of the project. Estimated construction cost: $33 - 45 million. *****Please see the attached documents*****
