Description
Is there an incumbent? If so what is the contract number for the previous contract? Answer: The incumbent is Ronald M. Slusser (Slussco). Travel is mentioned in the contract: "The contractor may be required to travel to Washington, D.C., or to other VA locations". What is the intent of travel? To present the final results? Kick-off meeting? Site evaluations? Since it's firm fixed price we need to know exactly what travel is required. Answer: There is no travel anticipated for this contract. If travel would be required, it would likely be for travel to DC to present findings and would be approved and priced at that time. But again, it is not anticipated that travel is necessary to complete this task. Will in-person site visits be required for the ~170 VHA stations referenced? Or, will raw data be all that is required for analysis? Answer: Site visits are not necessary. This is a data exercise and not a physical inspection of any sites. If specific sites do require in-person visits, please inform location of each VHA station and estimated time on site. Answer: N/A, no site visits are necessary. Due to short performance period, will all necessary VA personnel be promptly available to work with our schedule on site visits? Answer: N/A, no site visits are necessary. Can performance period be extended to working day rather than calendar days? Answer: No, the performance period cannot be extended. The analysis will feed the annual planning process and cannot be delayed that long. Is there a GSA requirement for this solicitation? Answer: No, please disregard the following sentence in the quote format section of the solicitation The Vendor s signed copy of their GSA Schedule contract with all modifications will not be counted in the page limit.
