- Description
- The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) is seeking to identify potential sources to accomplish a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract involving the scheduled Drydock Phased Maintenance Availability (DPMA) on USNS Hugo (TSV-2). The work includes hull gauging and repairs. The main repairs include electrical, mechanical, piping, and structural repairs. The place of performance will be at a Contractor's Facility and is restricted to the Homeport area. Dates of performance will be specified in the solicitation. Offerors must possess a valid Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in order to receive award. NAICS code 336611 applies, with a size standard of 1,250 employees. Only interested parties who intend to submit a proposal should submit a written expression of interest and provide confirmation of MSRA certification to the e-mail address stated below no later than 12:00 P.M. EST November 1,2017. This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse the contractor for any cost associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.
