- DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) COMPETITION FOR ELY CLINIC, ELY MN The VA currently occupies 3,500 net usable square feet (NUSF) of office space at 720 Old Miner Road, Ely MN. The current contract will expire 30 September 2018. VA is actively seeking space to meet its ongoing needs, and will relocate if advantageous to the Government. The cost of moving, alterations, and IT infrastructure, will be considered when determining whether to relocate. The space requirement is to provide 3500 NUSF of space. On-site parking for at least 20 vehicles is required. A full-service lease for up to 3 years will be contemplated. Occupancy required by Oct 1, 2018. If 2 or more Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, or Veteran Owned Small Businesses can meet the required dates and the price is found to be fair and reasonable we will utilize a set aside for the award. To be considered, space must be within or bordering a delineated area as Ely, MN: NORTH: County Road 88 SOUTH: County Road 990 EAST: County Road 169 WEST: Grant McMahon Blvd Offerors must provide evidence that properties are outside the 100-year flood plain. A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by the VA. The Government is limited by law (41 C.F.R. § 102-73.55) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. RESPONDENTS ARE ADVISED THAT THE VA ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY TO AWARD A LEASE BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS ADVERTISEMENT.
