Description
Analysis Table In accordance with FAR Part 10, the Government is performing market research for a potential requirement of non-drinking water, soil, sediment and sludge sample analysis. This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION for market research purposes. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL BE USED FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. After the results of this market research are obtained and analyzed, USAMRAA may conduct a competitive procurement and subsequently award a contract. The United States Army Public Health Command at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, MD is seeking information on businesses capable of providing analyses of non-drinking water, soil, sediment and sludge samples. It is anticipated that the Government will require a maximum of 20,000 sample analyses per year of the types and within the parameters listed on the attached file. Interested vendors shall respond with the following information: 1) A description of capabilities in performing analyses of non-drinking water, soil, sediment and sludge samples at the anticipated volume stated above and types identified in the attachment. 2) A description of the contractor's facility certifications. Specifically, the Government is researching laboratories who hold ISO 17025 and DoD ELAP accreditations issued through a certified accrediting body. 3) A description of their commercial pricing structure, i.e per type of analysis or by hour, or any other pricing methodologies that would be employed for this type of requirement. 4) The NAICS code and FSC code used in similar analysis services. 5) A description of the buisness size or small business category (i.e. HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.). Information received from vendors may be used to determine an acquisition strategy and Contract Line Item structure. This review does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation based on vendor responses. Vendors shall submit their response no later than 11:00 am on 11/06/2017 via email to susan.e.ruzicka2.civ@mail.mil. Attachments should not exceed 10MB total as they may not be received due to limitations on the Government's email system.
