Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4, 323 North Shore Drive, Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15212, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to CM3 Building Solutions, Inc., for the provision of maintenance services at the Corporeal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center (VAMC) located in Philadelphia, PA. These maintenance services are for the facility s CM3/Niagara, existing (discontinues) Barber Colman Network 8000 control system inclusive of the Global Control Modules GMC, network controller and Micro-zone, air handling units to new existing CM3 I/A series. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be for a base year and four option years, and the option to extend services IAW FAR 52.217-8. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the procedures in FAR 13.5 used in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 238220 with a small business size standard of $15M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 4:00 P.M., EST, on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
