- Solicitation Document The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) requires the award of one or more indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery contracts for the purchase of the following pediatric vaccines and estimated quantities manufactured under a current establishment and product license issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration: Item Descriptions & Quantities Influenza Vaccine - Pediatric (age 6 months and older)* Min. Order Size: 100 Doses Fed. Excise Tax: $.75 per dose Maximum: 36,000,000 Doses Minimum: 100 Doses *Note: Provide age indication for any vaccines proposed. The vaccines awarded under the resulting contracts will be purchased for NCIRD's immunization awardees (the fifty state health departments, several large city program and current and former U.S. Territories) to support pediatric immunization programs as provided under Section 317(j) of the Public Health Service Act and Vaccine for Children (VFC) program, established pursuant to Section 13631 of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 (OBRA '93). Vaccines shall be delivered F.O.B. Destination to the 50 states and U.S. territories. The period of performance shall be 12 months from date of award. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13. The solicitation and any amendments issued will be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov when issued. No hard copies of the solicitation and amendments will be mailed. Please note Funds are not currently available for the award. This solicitation is subject of funds availability during FY 2018.
