THIS IS A SOURCE-SOUGHT NOTICE FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL/QUOTE OR SOLICITATION - The VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System is conducting market research to support the requirement for Building Maintenance Services at American Samoa CBOC, Fiatele Teo Army Reserve Bldg, Pago Pago, American Samoa 96799. This Sources Sought notice is to determine the availability of Small Business Concerns in the Open Market pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.5. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute an invitation for Bids, Request for Proposal or Request for Quotation or an indication of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors; Small Business Size standards $15 million. The basic Performance Work Statement (PWS) is herein attached. Interested Vendors shall respond with the following: 1). Your business name, DUNS number, business address, business size status, point of contact name, mailing address (if different from business address), phone number, email address. 2). If you have an established contract instrument (i.e. GSA FSS Contract or IDIQ Contract) please provide the contract number, issuing government agency and expiration date. Do not send the Contract. If not, this does not count against you! 3). Answer the following questions: a). Do you currently have pre-established pricing in your contract for American Samoa? If so, send a copy. If not, this does not count against you! b). Do you have State license (including Electrician license) to performance business and business related services on American Samoa? If so, provide the license number(s). c). What is your Small Business Status? Also, if you are verified as a SDVOSB/VOSB in VIP (Vetbiz.gov), provide a copy (screen shot) of the verification only. Do not send any other VA documents. d). Do you have a current/active profile in SAM? Yes or No e). Does your company have current staffing (employees) to meet the requirements on American Samoa? Yes or No? If not, how to you intend to do business, provide supervision and on-call services at the site? How do you intend to meet the FAR Limitations on Subcontracting clause requirements? Or, will you have to sub-contract your labor force/employees? f). Have you performed same or similar building maintenance services as described in the PWS? Yes or No? If yes, provide 1 or 2 recent (within the last year) past performance reports (from PPIRS/CPARS). Do not send your capability statement or company brochures. g). If you are currently performing same or similar building maintenance services as described in the PWS in any commercial contractor capacity on American Samoa, please explain in a narrative format (not exceeding 1 typed page). Late submissions shall not be considered in the Market Research data if received after the stated date/time. Interested parties that fail to respond to all the questions above shall not be considered in the market research data.
