Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price with options contract to CM3 Building Solutions, Inc., 185 Commerce Dr., Suite 1, Fort Washington, PA 19034-2416 for the provision of building automation system (BAS) maintenance services at the Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320. BAS maintenance services include annual inspection and preventative maintenance, software revision upgrades for graphical user interfaces, direct digital controller firmware upgrades, and database verification and database backup. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the procedures in FAR 13.5 used in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 238220, and the small business size standard is $15 million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 4:30 P.M., Eastern, on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
