Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System 4300 West 7th Street, Little Rock, AR 72205 has a requirement for blood and blood products and delivery to the VA on date and time specified when the ordered is placed. Contractor must be licensed by the FDA, Department of Health and Human Services and accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks. The NAICS code is 325414, and the size standard is 1,250 employees. Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued under number 3625618Q0105. There is no set-aside requirement for this procurement. The period of contract will be a base period with four ordering periods. The Government's intent is to make a firm-fixed price contract to the responsive and responsible Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offeror. All interested bidders shall submit quotations electronically by email to lakeisha.white@va.gov Telephone replies will not be honored.
