- Description
- This is a notice of intent that the WR-ALC anticipates establishing a Sole Source requirement using an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Sustaining Engineering and Technical Support Services (SETSS) efforts on systems, products, or materials required to resolve technical or supportability deficiencies revealed in operational service of the C-5 aircraft. The contract will consist of a 12-month basic year, and four 12-month optional Ordering Periods and the consideration for a six month Extension of Services. The proposed contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Other Than Full and Open Competition. This acquisition is restricted to the following source: LOCKHEED MARTIN AERONAUTICS COMPANY (Cage: 98897). Statutory Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Far 6.302-1, The supplies or services are available from only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Government furnished drawings, specifications, and special tooling are not available. Based on the Market Research this acquisition will be solicited using FAR Part 15, Contract by negotiation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
