Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction project Project 610-15-100 Demolish Buildings 7, 10, 11, 18, 24, 60 and Connecting Corridors: It is the intention of VA Northern Indiana Health Care System to solicit bids for the total demolition of buildings 7, 10, 11, 18, 24 and 60. Demolition is to include above ground stories, basements, connecting corridors and identified underground site utilities. Sanitary sewer. Storm sewer. Electrical distribution. Steam and condensate. Water. Abandoned heating hot water supply and return. Telephone and Data. All underground utilities, except for the abandoned heating hot water, includes new work to facilitate continuance of site utility service to the hospital campus. All above work to be done in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 238910, Site Preparation Contractors with a standard size of $15M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue a RFP on or about November 8, 2017 via FEDBIZOPPS.gov. A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
