Description
To help clarify some of the details, please find answers to the following questions: Question 1. Is the "Pricing Table" page the only page for the whole bid package? Answer 1. Yes. Question 2. On the Pricing Table under the column "Consumption Range," the quantity listed for CLIN 1 is 6900-7000. Is that the total number of 0.5 liter bottles or total number of cases of 0.5 liter bottles? Answer 2. The Consumption Range reflects the total number of cases. Question 3. On the Pricing Table under the column "Consumption Range" quantities listed for CLIN 2 is 3900-4000, does that quantity refer to total number of jugs or should 3900-4000 be multiplied by 40 jugs as reflected under the "Unit of Measurement" column? (That would mean total consumption range for the 5-gallon jugs would be 4000 x 40 or 160,000 5-gallon jugs). Answer 3. No, the Consumption Range is simply the total number of jugs ordered annually (it should not be multiplied by 40). 40 is merely the number of jugs that currently arrive in a delivery module. In any given delivery, we order 40-80 jugs (or 1-2 modules). These deliveries are scheduled weekly (currently every Friday). Question 4. For CLIN 3 and 4, are you requesting the price to buy the coolers outright or the price to rent the coolers? If rental, would the unit price be the quantity of coolers multiplied by the rental price for 60 coolers per month x 12 months? Answer 4. Both, we are requesting both the purchase and the rental prices. The unit price would be the rental price of each cooler x 12 months. The purchase price would presumably be one cost per cooler. We would like to compare the prices of each option.
