Description
Draft statement of work SOURCES SOUGHT: SSU18-0017 BOAT LAUNCH SERVICES FOR USNS SACAGAWEA REPAIR CONTRACTORS THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the synopsis. Military Sealift Command is seeking a dedicated crew boat service to and from the Saipan commercial port to the USNS SACAGWEA at anchorage for all contracted tech reps and contractors and delivery of life rafts and contractor equipment, tools & parts. Services should be in accordance with the attached draft statement of work. Please note the statement of work is only a draft with the intent to survey market capabilities. The final official Statement of work will be issued with the formal solicitation. Work is to be performed in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. All Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Certified HUBZone and Certified 8(a) Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will determine whether, a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open competition is in the Government's best interest. The NAICS Code is 483111 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Interested parties shall furnish the following minimum information: a) Name of Company; b) Point of Contact, Telephone Number, Address, and e-mail address; c) Small business size status; d) Brief summary of company history relative to similar requirements and/or ability to meet the above requirements. e) Latest date of award required in order to meet the performance start date of ; and f) Any pertinent questions or concerns. Submission of a capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Government in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry.
