- JOTFOC Description: The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Ice Breaker and Buoy Tender Patrol Class, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to Appleton Marine, Inc. for the following parts: 1. Extend Cylinder, P/N, YMD-12983, Qty 1 EA 2. Control Valve Seal, P/N YMD-5819-R, qty 3 ea 3. Luff Cylinder, P/N NMD-0280, qty 2 ea 4. Bushing, P/N NMD-1576, qty 1 ea 5. Control Valve Seal Kit, P/N YMD-5860-R, qty 2 ea 6. Winch, Drum power op, p/n YMD-5882, qty 1 ea 7. Disc brake, p/n 24490, qty 2 ea 8. Friction disc, p/n 25530, Qty 2 EA Appleton Marine, Inc. is the OEM for these parts and has the proprietary data for the required items to support this request. Required Delivery Date: 15 June 2018 This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC BRISTOL BAY. Vendor will provide all the parts listed above. NAICS Code # 333923 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 PST 04 Dec 2017 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: Kristen.J.Thomas@uscg.mil. The solicitation is restricted to: Appleton Marine, Inc. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to Appleton Marine, Inc.
