Description

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to enter into a sole source procurement with GE Medical Systems Information Technologies, 9900 Innovation Drive, Wauwatosa, WI 53226 for the procurement of a Maintenance Service agreement. The service agreement is for the MUSE/MARS/DCAR electrocardiography equipment located at the VA Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, the Hillandale CBOCs and the Raleigh I/II CBOC s. GE is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or the cardiology equipment. NAICS 811219 applies to this acquisition; with a size standard of $20.5 M. The proposed contract action is for a twelve (12) month base with the possibility of three one-year options, for the maintenance service agreement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interest persons may identify their capabilities in this requirement no later than 10:00 a.m. ET, November 22, 2017 to: lori.miller@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice solely within the discretion of the Government.
