- This solicitation is being issued to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) that will provide stock replenishment coverage in support of military depots. The solicitation will be unrestricted, issued under FAR Part 15 procedures, and will utilize Other Than Full and Open Competition Procedures as prescribed by 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) and as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This item will be procured in accordance with manufacturer's code and part number and is available from only one or a limited number of sources. Currently Section B will contain 1 NSN Item managed by DLA Land and Maritime. See below: NSN: 5985-01-455-2545 Nomenclature: ANTENNA Approved Contractor (CAGE): Cobham Advanced Electronic (93346) Approved Part Number: 3380-8012-0008 Annual Demand Qty.: 208 NSN: 5985-01-455-2545 Nomenclature: ANTENNA Approved Contractor (CAGE): The Boeing Company (76301) Approved Part Number: 74-870118-113 Annual Demand Qty.: 208 The solicitation will be available on or about December 5, 2017 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, proposed delivery, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within various Federal Supply Class 5985. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (3 BASE YEARS plus 2 option years) and shall not exceed 5 years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). Approved sources are: Cobham Advanced Electronic (93346) and The Boeing Company (76301).
