Description

Special Notice to award under Solicitation: W81K02-18-T-0052 Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Cell, Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price award under solicitation W81K02-18-T-0052 to Smith & Nephew Inc. in the amount of $150,000.00 for Total Hip and Knee Implants and Instrument Sets to be used in three (3) patients surgical procedures, at Department of Anesthesia and Operative Services / Madigan Army Medical Center Tacoma WA. The Surgeon has made the determination that these products will best meet the patient's needs during surgery and these products must be FDA Approved. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, email; walter.j.bischoff.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
