- The United States Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000, on behalf of the U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Center (ARDEC) intends to issue a full and open competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) for an Electric Motor. The contractor shall be capable of designing, fabricating, testing, and delivering three (3) prototype Electric Motors that meet/exceed the requirements of a red-line drawing for Electric Motor, 12927815. This will include labor, material, fabrication, assembly, inspection and test according to Quality Assurance provision (QAP) 12927815. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price. The highest Distribution Level for this solicitation is Distribution Statement A. The NAICS code for this effort is 335312 and the small business sized standard is 1,250. The synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not considered a request for proposal. Further, this synopsis is not a guarantee of a future RFP and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. The Government anticipates an RFP to be posted to FedBizOpps https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 27 December 2017. The offer due date will be stated in the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the webpage for notice of amendments, update, or changes to the solicitation. All potential sources must obtain/have a DUNS number, a CAGE code, register in the System for Award Management (SAM) located at http://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ in order to transact business with the Government.
