- Description
- The intent of this solicitation and any resultant contract is to obtain services of three (3) helibases with one (1) helibase requiring two (2) aircraft. Helibases will be located in Region 4 Intermountain Region and Region 6 Pacific Northwest Region. A total of four (4) Exclusive Use Type III Aircraft fully operated by qualified personnel and equipped to meet specifications for medical short haul mission and administration and protection of Public Lands throughout USFS Region 4 Intermountain region and Region 6 Pacific Northwest Region. The helibases specified in the solicitation will be located in McCall, ID, Jackson Hole, WY and East Wenatchee, WA. Resultant contract will be issued as a Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment contract not to exceed 1 base year and 3 option periods for the daily availability rate. The flight rate will be an indefinite quantity with no guarantee of flight hours given by the Government. Aircraft furnished may be used for fire support, project, law enforcement, and administrative flights. The government has Interagency and cooperative agreements with Federal and State agencies and private landholders. Aircraft may be dispatched for interagency use.
