- REQUEST FOR QUOTE The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Edgefield, South Carolina, intends to issue solicitation 15B30318QTB130051 for the requirement of: Laboratory referral testing service for our Medical department. (MEET OR EXCEED REQUIREMENTS) This solicitation is unrestricted, FOB Destination. Should any scheduled pick-ups fall on a holiday, pick-ups will be made on the next business day, unless otherwise specified by the Medical department. Pick-ups will be made at the Federal Correctional Institution, 501 Gary Hill Road, Edgefield, South Carolina 29824. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible quoter whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered equally. All responsible small business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 07, 2017 and will be posted to the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, and award information will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Quotes will be due Wednesday, December 13, 2017 by 8:00 am EST. The Government reserves the right to make payment using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or the Government Purchase Card. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
