Description

This RFO is for the FAA's anticipated acquisition of interior Electrical Distribution Equipment (EDE) and life cycle in-service support. EDE to be acquired include equipment such as Parallel Switchgear, Switchgear, Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, Transformers, Panel boards, and Electrical Power Monitoring and Control Systems. In addition to the EDE, the FAA requires related technical support services, logistics support, training and quality control. Interested contractors must have extensive experience in designing, assembling, testing, and installing power distribution systems in facilities of similar complexity and criticality as those found across the National Airspace System. Contractors must possess in-house access to core technical information and be able to troubleshoot, fault isolate and perform failure analysis of its equipment and provide maintenance and repair training for FAA technicians. The projected milestones for the procurement are: Comments and Questions Due - 12/21/17 Proposals Due - 02/26/18 These dates are subject to change, and are provided for planning purposes only.
