Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to issue an firm fixed price Contract to furnish all labor, materials, parts and equipment necessary to inspect and test the fire sprinklers systems as listed below and all related communication equipment so that the systems are maintained in accordance with the current edition of NFPA 72 and the Manufacturer's specifications for the Medical Center to Media Plumbing & Heating, Inc., 12 Creek Parkway, Boothwyn, PA, 19061, This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source award to Media Plumbing & Heating Inc., a VIP Verified SDVOSB, under FAR 6.302-5, Authorized or Required by Statute, Veterans First Contracting Program, as authorized by 38 U.S.C. 8127 and 8128 (Pub. L. 109-461, as amended), implemented under subpart 819.70, is in the best interest of the Government. The NAICS Code that applies to this procurement is 561621; the small business size standard is $20.5M. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes, competitive proposals, solicitations, or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 1:00 PM EST on December 19, 2017. All responses must be emailed to David.Guley@va.gov.
