THIS ANNOUNCEMENT BEST VIEWED/DOWNLOADED FROM FAA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES WEB SITE, HTTPS://FAACO.FAA.GOV, KEYWORD: 17-R-00253. ***The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate revised Section B, and revised Statement of Work Paragraph 4.1.1 and extend the closing date of this SIR January 12, 2018.*** The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for solid waste disposal. The FAA contemplates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract for a 1-year base period with four 1-year option periods. A technical, as well as cost, evaluation will be conducted to make an award decision based on LowestPrice/Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Your attention is directed to Sections L and M of Screening Information Request (SIR)/Request for Offer (RFO) DTFAAC-17-R-00253 for instructions for preparation and submission of proposals. THIS PROCUREMENT IS FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 562111 Solid Waste Collection. The business size standard for this NAICS is $38.5 million. Contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov on the date established for receipt of offers (January 12, 2018). Reference AMS Clause 3.3.1-33, paragraph (d), �if the offeror does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer may proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror. � Proposals must be received electronically by the FAA Contract Specialist, kimberly.sites@faa.gov, no later than 5:00 p.m. CT, January 12, 2018. If mailing, technical, as well as cost proposals they must be received by the FAA, Customer Service Desk (AMQ700), 6500 S. MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73169, no later than 5:00 p.m.CST, January 12, 2018. Proposals shall be delivered to Room 313 of the Multi-Purpose Building located at 6500 S. MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73169. Proposals must be sealed and labeled as follows: SIR/RFO No. DTFAAC-17-R-00253 due 5:00 p.m. CST, January 12, 2018. Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to consider allowing sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at MMAC. Overnight delivery of responses to this SIR/RFO may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at MMAC. In accordance with SIR Section L provision 3.2.2.3-14 entitled, "Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals," any proposals received after the due time and date of 5:00 p.m. CT, January 12, 2018., will not be considered. In addition, if all requested information is not furnished in the offeror's proposal, the offeror's proposal may be determined to be non-responsive and ineligible for consideration for contract award. This SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals. All questions must be received by 2:00 p.m. CST on January 2, 2018 to ensure adequate response time.
