Y “ SOURCES SOUGHT FOR AWWA D110 TYPE I TANK TO BE INSTALLED THROUGH CONTRACT NUMBER N6274217C1324, J-001B FINEGAYAN UTILITIES AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS PHASE I, MARINE CORPS ACTIVITY GUAM N40192 ROICC FINEGAYAN, NAVFAC MARIANAS PSC Code: Y1NE Construction of Water supply facilities Contract Number: N6274217C1324 Contact Point: Ms. Wendie Narvarte, Wendie.Narvarte@fe.navy.mil The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine if commercial sources are available. The information will be used within the U.S. Navy but will not be disclosed outside the agency. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Marianas, Resident Officer In-Charge of Construction (ROICC) Finegayan is seeking qualified contractors and subcontractors that are licensed to conduct business in Guam, USA. The scope of work will be performed in Marine Corps Base Marianas. The work includes, but is not limited to, provision of an AWWA D110 Type I tank that will be installed and commission through Contract Number N6274217C1324. The system description is provided as follows: Construct concrete water tank AWWA D110, Type I. Provide tank, reinforced concrete floor slab, and roof. a. Roof live load 98 kg per square meter (20 psf). b. Wind design shall comply with the minimum wind design loads indicated in the latest edition(s) of ASCE 7 and IBC with due consideration for topographic and geographic features that may amplify wind loads by applying the appropriate Kzt topographic factor and using the appropriate exposure category for the specific site. Exposure Category - C Topographic Factor Kzt = 1.0 Basic Wind Speed V = 338 km/h c. Seismic Parameters 0.2 second Spectral Acceleration Ss = 2.79g 1 second Spectral Acceleration S1 = 0.68g Importance Factor Ie = 1.5 c. Circular potable water storage facility with a minimum capacity of 6.0M liters (1.6M gallons). Provide a ground water storage tank. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332420 Metal Tank (Heavy Gauge) Manufacturing. This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in cutting, forming, and joining heavy gauge metal to manufacture tanks, vessels, and other containers. A Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract is anticipated. The estimated period of performance is July 2018 through December 2019.
