Description
EHP Roller System Description EHP Roller Sources Sought Notice Explosive Hazard Pre-Detonation (EHP) Roller PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: The Explosive Hazard Pre-Detonation (EHP) Roller design will provide for forward mounted variable standoff for the Medium Mine Protected Vehicle (MMPV) Type II platform. The EHP Roller, with an On-Arm Wire Neutralization System (WNS), is a full width explosive hazard roller capability that consists of two bank assemblies, each having six wheel stations and two wire neutralization blade stations. The EHP Roller capabilities shall counter the full spectrum of conventional and asymmetric explosive hazards including surface-laid, buried and concealed landmines, IED, Explosively Formed Penetrators, Unexploded Ordnance, battlefield munitions and booby traps to include associated trigger mechanisms. The EHP Roller will have the capability to neutralize/detonate a broad spectrum of explosive hazards while on the move. Additionally, it will clear routes, destroy volatile hazards, proof lanes of explosive hazards and trigger mechanisms, neutralize/detonate and mitigate unpredictable hazards. THE REQUIREMENT: Army Contracting Command-Warren intends to solicit for 344 each EHP Rollers, 5 each First Article Test (FAT) assets, and 1 each System Support Package (SSP). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336992. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this market survey is to identify potential sources that are capable of producing EHP Roller. The planned ordering requirements are as follows: FY 18 - 72 FY 19 - 48 FY 20 - 72 FY 21 - 83 FY 22 - 69 This is a draft Request for Proposal (RFP) to gain further insight to industry interest.
