- Description
- The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties the USTRANSCOM Acquisition Directorate anticipates issuance of a solicitation for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) in United Arab Emirates. Services include providing all technical support, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials in connection with the receipt, disposition, processing and loading/discharging of vessels at the seaports and aircraft at airports. The general scope of S&RTS services includes, Vessel/Aircraft Loading, Vessel/Aircraft Discharging, Receipt of Cargo, Disposition of Cargo, Stuffing/Unstuffing of Cargo, Intra-Terminal Transfer of Cargo, Onward Movement of Cargo, Management Expertise, Customs Brokering & Clearance of Air and Sea Cargo, and Washrack/Rinse Services. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 488320. The Government anticipates issuing an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with base period of performance from 17 July 2018 through 16 July 2019 and four (4) one-year option periods. The resulting contract will also include FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, for a possible performance period of 66 months ending 16 January 2024. Award will be made on the basis of a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on FBO.gov on or about 18 January 2018. No hardcopies of this solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by USTRANSCOM/TCAQ. The solicitation shall be posted in its entirety at this website.
