- Description
- Quad Example RFI INDUSTRY DAY REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) Synopsis: The Health Systems Team, Program Manager Supply and Maintenance Systems (PM SMS), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is seeking potential sources and best practice information towards designing, modernizing, updating medical technology and procuring Authorized Medical/Dental Allowance List (AMAL/ADAL) consumables/equipment. MARCORSYSCOM is particularly interested in lighter weight, innovative solutions equaling or surpassing current performance standards which can be directly implementing into the AMAL 635/636 Battalion Aid Station Equipment and Consumables, 699 Sick Call Block, Corpsman Assault System (CAS), Combat Life Savers (CLS) and Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK). The following capabilities are to provide focus for your product submission. Capabilities: •- AMAL 635/636 shall provide initial resuscitative and stabilizing care for patients with major wounds prior to evacuation to higher level of care. Additionally, it shall be augmented with a supplemental block to provide resupply capabilities for the Corpsman Assault Packs, Combat Life-saver kits, and individual first aid kits within the organization supported by the aid station. •- AMAL 699 Sick Call Block will provide essential treatment for Disease Non-battle Injuries (DNBI) during routine sick call. The AMAL 699 will augment the Aid station AMAL 635/36. The combination of these medical assemblies provide both DNBI and combat casualty care capability at level I. •- CORPSMAN ASSAULT PACK COMPONENT ASSEMBLAGE (CAPCA) shall contain equipment and consumables necessary for the Corpsman to perform their mandatory combat clinical task. It is designed to be mission-tasked with a variety of trauma casualty products for emergent health care delivery in the combat environment. •- Combat Lifesaver (CLS) CLS Kit shall provide the CLS trained Marines the ability to treat extremity hemorrhage, tension pneumothorax/sucking chest wound and provide airway management. The CLS kit augments the IFAK. •- The IFAK shall provide the individual Marine the ability to treat life threatening extremity hemorrhage (leading cause of preventable death in combat), other external bleeding, other injuries common in combat, and a means to treat non-potable water for personal consumption. Companies are expected to apply best practice human-factors, integration analysis and business analysis to meet the needs of Providers to Marines/Sailors.
