- J&A - FIRE ALARM SYSTEM UPGRADE NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT. The Wisconsin Air National Guard, Volk Field Air National Guard Base (ANGB) intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price Contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to: Vendor: MONACO ENTERPRISES, INC. - 14820 E SPRAGUE AVE, SPOKANE, WA, 99216 NAICS Code : 334290, OTHER COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING Small Business Size Standard - 750 Employees The proposed contract is to engineer and install essential system components to modernize the D-21 Fire alarm system. Monaco Enterprises Inc. will furnish parts and labor to install essential system components to modernize and support the Volk Field ANGB D-21 Fire alarm system. Monaco Enterprises Inc. is the manufacturer and sole distributor of the needed system upgrade and will be awarded the contract. This sole source requirements meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirement. Anticipated award date: 15 January 2018 Delivery: 90 days after contract award Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposal, a solicitation of offers, or invitation for bid. Therefore, there are no solicitation documents. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quote to seth.i.swieter.mil@mail.mil, which may be considered by the agency if received by the date below. Responses must be received no later than 1:00 P.M. CST, 10 January 2018. If no responses are received by 10 January 2018 at 1:00 PM CST, a sole source contract will be pursued with Monaco Enterprises Inc. Responses should be submitted electronically to MSgt Seth I. Swieter at seth.i.swieter.mil@mail.mil A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will NOT answer questions or inquiries via telephone.
