- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to negotiate and award a Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-14-G-0004 to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (Sikorsky), 6900 Main St. Stratford, CT 06614, on an other than full and open competition basis. The contract will be for non-recurring engineering (NRE) and recurring tasks required to incorporate Mission Communications System Version 3.0 (MCS v3.0) hardware changes on the VH-92A aircraft. Sikorsky is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, expertise, and the necessary proprietary technical data required to perform this effort. A sole source acquisition will be procured under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Sikorsky directly.
