- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR ANNUAL MAINTENANCE FOR THE LABSPHERE 150MM INTEGRATING SPHERE AND THE LAMBDA950 SPECTROPHOTOMETER A.INTRODUCTION 1.This is a Sources Sought synopsis being conducted pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research. This is for planning purposes only and there is no solicitation available at this time. 2.This is an initial step in the planning process for the annual maintenance of Labsphere 150mm Serial Number (5821) and LAMBDA950 Serial Number (950N7021401). The Government is contemplating award of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. 3.The 377 MSG/PKB at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, seeks potential sources to provide maintenance for the Labsphere 150mm intergarting sphere and the LAMBDA950 Spectrophotometer owned by AFRL/RVSV, at Kirtland AFB, NM 87117. 4.Delivery Date: Preferred 30 Day After Receipt of Offer (ARO). 5.The North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Mainenance, which has a small business size standard of $20.5 million B.INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS: 1.All businesses capable of providing this product are invited to respond. Any information provided to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary and the Government will not pay for any information submitted. Scope of Work: 1.1 The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, special tools, expertise, supervision, and services required to provide annual maintenance contract for Perkin Elmer Lambda 950 spectrophotometer outfitted with a Labsphere 150mm Integrating Sphere. As a minimum, the following shall be accomplished: The annual maintenance activity will include the following items: 1) One annual preventive maintenance visit for both the Lambda 950 and Labsphere 150mm 2) As needed repair services for the Lambda 950 and Labsphere 150mm. Repair services will include repair parts, travel and labor costs 3) Telephone support for operation and maintenance of the Lambda 950 and Labsphere 150mm 4) Opportunities to sign up for equipment training classes 1.2 Equipment Loss or Damage: Any equipment damaged during system maintenance shall be repaired or replaced at no cost to the Government. 2. General Requirements: 2.1 Hours of Operations: Normal duty hours are from 0800 to 1700, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, Federal Holiday and any AFGSC down days, if applicable. 2.2 Recognized Holiday: The following holidays are recognized as Federal Holidays and Government offices will NOT be open. 2.3 Base Access: All commercial trucks must enter through the contractor's gate located just West of the intersection of Gibson and Carlisle. In accordance with Kirtland Air Force Base, base entry procedures must adhere to delivery vehicle process requirements mandated by Kirtland Air Force Base. Supplier shall coordinate with AFRL/RVSV, David Wilt, (505) 846-2462 and Base Security to gain permissions to access the base. Gate hours of operation are 0600 - 1800. Once at the gate, the driver must be able to show: Current vehicle registration Current Proof of Insurance A valid and current Driver's License for the driver A valid and current Driver's License or other State Identification for any passenger(s) in the vehicle. A Bill of Lading which includes the Air Force installation name, date of anticipated delivery, and specific destination information. 3.
