Description: Amendment 1 adds two documents: E-IDS Segment 1 Interfaces IESP Service Ordering Guide Introduction/Purpose In accordance with policy, this is a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit market insight from sources that can provide full lifecycle services for the E-IDS program. Additionally, this market survey is being conducted to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists, to identify capability among small businesses, SEDB/8a sources, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. This is the third Market Survey from the Enterprise Information Display System (E-IDS) Program. See also Solicitation Numbers 25844 and 27890 available at faaco.faa.gov. Where information previously provided answers the following questions, a resubmittal of the same information is sufficient. Nature of Competition The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or a set-aside will likely be chosen depending on the responses to the market survey. Nature of this Market Survey (a)This is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or Request for Proposals (RFP) of any kind; (b)This is not a commitment to issue a SIR or RFP of any kind; (c)The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; (d)The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing any response to this RFI; and (e)Any costs associated with any response to this RFI are solely at the interested vendor 冱 expense North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code A NAICS code for this procurement has not been determined at this time. Please indicate on the business declaration form which code applies to your core business functions. Submittal Requirements Respondents to this RFI must identify their company name, address, email, telephone number and a name and telephone number of the company point of contact having the authority and technical knowledge to clarify responses with government representatives. Respondents must submit a completed FAA Business Declaration form in PDF format. Responding 8(a) firms must also provide an 8(a) Certification Letter from the Small Business Administration in PDF format. Responding Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) must be listed in the VETBIZ database in addition to completing the Business Declaration Form. Submitted materials will not be evaluated, e.g. scored or ranked, nor will the FAA provide feedback on any of the submitted materials. In addition, responses to this RFI will not be viewed by the FAA as a commitment by the respondents to submit a proposal in response to the E-IDS SIR if it is released. Submission of information about any federal schedules, inter-agency agreements, etc. that may be used to acquire these services is encouraged. If a SIR is released, respondents will likely be required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to any proposal submission.
