Posting Date: January 2, 2018 Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice Agency/Office: Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 Title: Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 10 Eyeglass Dispensary Services Classification Code: Q512- Medical- Optometry NAICS Code: Sector 62- Healthcare and Social Assistance, Subsector 621- Ambulatory Healthcare Services, 621320- Offices of Optometrists This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking to acquire eyeglass dispensary services for VISN 10, to include sites within the States of Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. In general, VISN 10 requires a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision to provide eyeglass dispensary services, to include various functions such as fitting, adjustments, dispensing, repairs, and education. Performance will begin on or around April 1, 2018. The Government anticipates awarding multiple, firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts. The Government further anticipates setting this procurement aside exclusively for small business concerns. A formal Request for Proposals (RFP) VA250-17-R-1170 is to follow. The Government anticipates release of the RFQ to be January 12, 2018 with a due date of February 12, 2018. These dates are subject to change. Interested Offerors must refer to the final released RFP on Federal Business Opportunities for due dates, times, and submission requirements.
